About Norah and More

Were I to paint a picture of my life it would have many colours both dark and light, with winding, twisting roads through mountains and valleys. While born in Ontario, I grew up in Southern California until moving to BC at the age of 21.

Earning a living took many forms and shapes until I officially finished working and retired as Business Manager for UBC Mining Engineering in 2005.

Since moving to Powell River both James and I have been heavily involved in the vibrant arts community here. As members of the Arts Council, Malaspina Arts Society and the Powell River Studio Tour we do what we can to support the arts. As a web designer I have also created several community websites for non-profit groups as a service through Powell River Direct.com, an information resource for the area.

I have two grown sons and three grandchildren. My oldest son, Ryan Little, is first and foremost a father and husband married to a wonderful woman named Dee who publishes a monthly paper in Powell River called the SunnySide Coffee News. After that important distinction he is a graphic and web designer with a strong interest in visual arts. Younger son Chris Mutch and his fiance,
Rhonda Couglin, are both chainsaw wood carvers with a successful business on Vancouver Island called Cedar Images.
