James is a wonderful, warm, wise, and caring human being with a delightful sense of humour who works hard, loves to play and have fun, but knows how to just 'be'.  Painting has become a passion since he picked up a brush for the first time in 2005. Since then he spends every spare moment either

painting or studying how to improve as an artist.  James grew up in Owen Sound, Ontario then moved to BC in 1991. He went to work shortly after for a ventilation company that  has projects all over the world. He still works as a project manager on on contact three or four times, which allows us to live in the lifestyle of our

James' choice of the yin yang symbol and the words, "Living Love, Loving Life" reflects very well who we are as two human beings.

Ours is a true storybook romance. We fell in love in a matter of days in the spring of 2000 and married in June 2001. On our first visit to Powell River in 2003 we fell in love with the warm energy of the place and the people. Two years later we quit our jobs in the city and moved here to pursue our art.
